The biggest news in college basketball has come in August, typically one of the quietest recruiting months of the year.
The nation’s No. 1 high school recruit Marvin Bagley III made his decision to reclassify up to the Class of 2017 on Monday, which means he will immediately be a freshman in college basketball this season.
Along with his decision to reclassify, Bagley said on SportsCenter that he will play at Duke for Hall of Fame coach Mike Krzyzewski.
BANG BANG. Duke already had a pretty solid recruiting class coming into the season. They signed All-Americans G Trevon Duval, F Gary Trent Jr. and F Wendell Carter. Duke also returns former All-American big man Marques Bolden and superstar G Grayson Allen among others.
Marvin Bagley is a 6’10” forward who was formerly known as the #1 player in the 2018 class – ahead of internet star Zion Williamson. We actually Wrote a blog on Bagley predicting he could end up a Celtic in the 2018 NBA Draft.
Form a starting lineup of Duval – Allen – Trent – Carter -Bagley – that’s the best in the ACC in my opinion. I honestly don’t think anybody is close except maybe Louisville. Duke will rule the roost once again in college basketball and I can tell Carolina fans have already gone into a great depression.
